NEW YORK (TND) — Reality TV star Kim Kardashian wore a super tight silver corset gown to the 2024 Met Gala.
Not only are people talking about the snug custom-made dress that featured a leaf motif, they are buzzing about the simple sweater she donned over her shoulders and clutched with both hands.
So, what's up with it?
During a brief interview with Variety, Kardashian said the event marked the "wildnest night of my life in a garden." She said she "just ran out and had to grab my boyfriend's sweat and threw it on."
She added that her hair, which was bleached blond, was "all messed up."
Footage from the event showed Kardashian struggling to walk in the dress. At one point, she appeared to be in pain.
Variety shared a clip of the interview on Instagram. Multiple users commented on the gown, the extreme tightness of the corset, as well as the sweater.

At the Met Gala in 2022, Kardashian wore a skintight Marilyn Monroe-inspired gown. She draped a coat around her arms to cover the back, as she reportedly could not get the zipper up all the way.
The annual fundraiser was held Monday night at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The theme for this year's event was "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion."
The “Garden of Time” theme was inspired by an obscure J.G. Ballard short story first published in 1962. It's about a count and countess whiling away their days in a secluded villa surrounded by a garden as a horde of rabble rousers approaches. He reverses time with the last of some magical flowers in the garden, until the last bloom is plucked and the mob descends.
