State police are investigating after a shooting left one man dead in Lycoming County Saturday evening.
According to a press release, the shooting occurred in the parking lot of a TGI Friday's in Williamsport around 6:30 p.m.
State police said that, while the circumstances of the shooting are still being investigated at this time, there is one deceased black male as a result of the shooting.
The press release states that, after the shooting occurred, the unknown actor fled the scene both on foot and then in a vehicle.
According to state police, this is an active investigation and no other information or the identity of the victim will be released at this time.
