Three men are facing charges for allegedly paying for sex with prostitutes operating out of Centre County.

Police say 38-year-old Travis Horner, 65-year-old Victor Shvenke, and 64-year-old Harold Geise have been charged after being stopped by police after visits to a Super Motel 8.

The investigation stemmed from a human trafficking investigation in Brookville where police say they arrested a man who told them about Asian females staying at the Super 8 Motel on S. Atherton Street in State College and posting prostitution ads online, police say.

Police say on Jan. 21, they contacted the managers of the motel, who provided police and agents from the attorney general’s office with a room across from a room that belonged to 56-year-old Tsai-Hsia Wu and 51-year-old Yu-Ying Yeh.

Police say each man was observed entering the room and then exiting sometime later, and after being stopped, they each confessed to paying for sex with the women.

Yeh later told police that she was not the one who posted the advertisements online, but the ads were instead posted by someone in Las Vegas who would arrange clients for the women to see.

She told police they would then pay the operator a portion of their earnings.

All three men are facing misdemeanor charges, including patronizing prostitutes. They have preliminary hearings scheduled for April 17.

Both Yeh and Wu have also been charged in the case.
