Clearfield Co., PA (WJAC) — A brand-new board game is available in Clearfield County, highlighting the history of Houtzdale.
Two teenage residents came up with the idea of creating a Houtzdale-Opoly board game as a fundraiser for the annual Houtzdale Days Festival.
The Houtzdale Days staff worked with local historians and families in town to find information and photos of Houtzdale’s past to include in the game, which turned into one big community project.
Orders for the new game are being taken at the Moshannon Valley Floral and Gift Shop, located on Hannah Street in Houtzdale.
Houtzdale Days is coming up later this month with the car show on July 17th, followed by nightly festivities from July 20th through the 23rd.
