UNIVERSITY PARK – As the Penn State football program hosts its final home game of the season, the fans got a treat of their own. They got to be a part of the Heisman House.

The Nissan Heisman house tour returned to Penn State on Saturday. The traveling exhibit attracted hundreds of fans before kick-off.

The touring house provides fans with an opportunity to celebrate college football and some of its greatest players.

Former Nittany Lion standout Derrick Williams was in attendance.

"I love it, ya know.? The fans are amazing; the atmosphere is amazing,” said former Penn State football and NFL player, Derrick Williams. “It's just the best place ever if you're a big college fan to be at."

Williams reflected on what the football program meant to him.

"I gave my all to the program; in return, it's given all to me, ya know.? I appreciate it, I appreciate every level that I've been through," Williams said.

Former Penn State All-American LaVar Arrington also participated in the activities.

“We are Penn State,” the crowd roars as Arrington was introduced to the crowd.

"It's always exciting to come back to State College ... it's my home," said Arrington, a former NFL player.

After years of commitment to PSU, Arrington explained how the football program is like family.

"Penn State football is in that same conversation, so it’s a part of me, a part of who I am. I'm a part of it, I'm a part of what it represents,” Arrington said. “I take a great, great pride in that. It's an honor to be able to say that I was the blue and white and played for this university, I was a part of this university and that means everything to me."

Fans got an opportunity to take photos with the Heisman trophy, meet with alumni and vote for the winner of the 2017 Heisman trophy.

"It feels good that I get a voice," said Heisman voter, Adam Andrews.

The fans said they were happy to have the Heisman House back in Happy Valley and

that their hopes and votes are with Saquon Barkley for the winner of the 2017 Heisman trophy.
