JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — An official with People's Natural Gas says authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of a gas leak near Coopersdale Homes in Johnstown.
Authorities say the leak was reported early Thursday morning along the 200 block of Cooper Ave.
A PNG spokesperson says crews are expected to have the area cleaned up by the end of the day.
Local authorities add that no major issues were reported as a result of the gas leak.

Crews were on scene of a reported gas leak in Cambria County early Thursday morning.
Officials say the gas leak was reported on the 200 block of Cooper Ave. - across the street from Johnstown's Coopersdale Homes.
An official with People's Natural Gas told 6 News that there is no threat to the public and they will remain on scene until the problem is resolved.
Cambria County dispatch says the Johnstown Fire Department is looking into this incident further.
